The Worst Floods In The Philippines In 4 Decades

This weekend saw one of the worst flooding to have hit the Philippines for more than 4 decades. At least 73 people were killed and around 43 are missing, the number could be much higher than this.

A friend of mine, Ian Del Carmen from the Philippines is doing a “flood sale” (http://fireballonline.com/floodsale/) to help the victims of this calamity. I hope you will at least take a look at the offer and recommend it to all the people you know that maybe interested.

Announcement Of A Pending Site Move

Update: Chat room is now open – auto-float is now enabled!

In the next few weeks I am going to work on moving Dostana Mehfil to a new server. The reason being that the current server is very slow and at times has returned site access error 500.

This has been one of the reason why I have not done much maintenance on updating the site. But I have also been pretty much busy with other projects of which two are attached to this site. I’ve managed to secure a video hosting provider after the last one failed to deliver on dostanamehfiltube.com which resulted in the los of the domain name.  Read more...
