Update: Chat room is now open – auto-float is now enabled!

In the next few weeks I am going to work on moving Dostana Mehfil to a new server. The reason being that the current server is very slow and at times has returned site access error 500.

This has been one of the reason why I have not done much maintenance on updating the site. But I have also been pretty much busy with other projects of which two are attached to this site. I’ve managed to secure a video hosting provider after the last one failed to deliver on dostanamehfiltube.com which resulted in the los of the domain name.

But things as not so bad since I already owned dostanatube.com so the re-establishing of the video sharing site wasn’t so bad . You can reach it at http://dostanatube.com where I invite you to join and share your videos or simply watch and share what is already there. It is more like AapnaTube than YouTube

The community section is currently set up via a subdomain at http://community.dostanamehfil.com which has about 40 members – with the acquisition of http://dostanamehfil.net I have now set up a new network site which is totally independent and runs on its own script. Do drop by and take a look -  don’t forget to register and invite your friends to join in the fun too. If you love facebook then am sure you will dostanamehfil.net and its only a matter of time before we grow a great community network site which is truly Aapka apna mehfil.
